To my Sirius

To my Sirius ⭐
In the second generation of Kapoors and khans you broke into Bollywood with you’re undying passion , extraordinary talent and back breaking hardwork . You were already a television star by the time you signed up for kai po che yet you walked into the world of Hindi cinema unnamed , unimportant, and walked away with films that challenged the most relenting of viewers .

Your journey in Bollywood exactly began eight years ago . You went from badass Preet Juneja to fragile Dopper and innocent Manav to the babiest of babies Manny . You managed to make the theatres feel and critics bite their tongues . When you hit a six with that marvel helicopter shot the love ball landed straight in my heart. Since then you’ve been ruling my heart and how. When I think Sushant I think fearless .

The one who is bold enough to speak his mind I love the way you come as you are despite all the stardom and that clearly shows from the simplicity at you’re words in interviews to the complexity in you’re characters on screen. What’s even more uplifting is the fact that you refused to be pigeonholed and brought an element of surprise as an actor and you had continued to fine tune your craft everytime. Sonchirya , Kedarnath and detective Byomkesh Bakshy led us on a path of soul searching , crafted undiluted emotions in us and we empathized with them. It seemed like they lived within us.

They were made for celluloid posterity . You were basically a sponge that can endure any character and bring it to life with ease. The charming next door boy subtly carved a niche in Bollywood sans the six pack abs. You showed us that despite nepotism and trivial scripts in Bollywood talents like you can work their way up to light. But chuck it all you were not in the business for money or fame but for the art.

Besides all of that the way you weave magic with you’re words soaked us in the simplistic beauty of you’re verses and made us all resonate with you . Your versatility is your charm. The boy who fanboyed over Shah Rukh Khan all his life shared the stage with him one day. You proved that dreams are never too big to be real and how entertainment doesn’t always need glamour to catch eyeballs. Your journey to making it big in Bollywood was a road full of jagged glass .

Everything you had been through but still didn’t give up . Sushant you were, are and always will be an inspiration to all of us. You’re name will go down in history . An outsider in every way , you came from humble beginnings and had to overcome massive odds to reach the place you made for yourself . You’re path to glory was nothing but unconventional showing incorrigible optimism and insurmountable ability to overcome obstacles. You’re the embodiment of constantly embracing a spirited life that never sold his soul for stardom. As you always used to say ” my mother used to tell me your life is a story that you tell yourself ” everytime you received an award I’m sure you have a lot to tell your mother now on the grand stage with the real stars twinkling beside you under the moon’s light your mother cheering for you as you begin to tell your legendary story of you’re 34 years on the planet earth.

You made your mother and us proud Sushant . She can boast ” my son ” to the angels up there . And here I Continue to look up to you and live my life for you’ve taught me the Khulke ke Jeene ka Tareekha and alas ” Lag Ja Gale Ki Phir Ye Hasin Raat Ho Na Ho Shaayad Phir Is Janam Main Mulaaqaat Ho Na Ho ” Till we meet again baby boy I love you ❤.
Your proud fan forever ❤
