SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT
“Sushant Singh Rajput”, this name’s journey, in my life. My first visual of you goes back to TV days where you came in daily soap as lead character, back then I wasn’t watching much of those so I saw you a few times as my mother used to watch it.
Then I heard you being a new debutant and doing movies. But it was only in year 2016, where I saw the trailer of one of my favorite cricketer, M.S. DHONI: The Untold Story. I was so intrigued by your acting in trailer itself that I searched about you, read a little and watched few interviews of yours and found you interesting.
I followed you up on instagram, where I saw a person who is an actor, has things to say and put out which are unlike the mainstream actors. I was amazed by you, got curious and saw few more interviews and read your posts with more depth.
I realised that you, Sushi, cannot be tagged by an actor tag alone, that you were so much more than what most of people in general could be and since then I have admired you. I saw your movies, read your posts, got amazed every single time and it was all still fine.
But as its said you are not capable of knowing how much of it you have inside you. As you used to say, we make sense in retrospect, 14.06.2020, this day has changed everything, the sudden rush of emotion which was felt, has stayed and it will stay in one corner of my heart always.
Today, it has been so many months! I, like million others, am not able to come to terms with the fact that you are not here. This feeling is surreal, first time I am experiencing this emotion where I have been so devastated for a person I have never met in person.
Where every new day, there is a new memory. Where every night, is a struggle with his visual just infront of you as you close your eyes to sleep. But that’s what Sushant Singh Rajput has always been. If a person gets to know him, even if distantly, you will love him for all what he was and what he ever did.
Whatever you have given to this world, your filmography, your selfless ventures, your interviews, your social media inputs, your musings and most importantly just YOU. All of it has made not only me but several others to feel you and how. We have witnessed a person who was doing more than usual living and leaving here, who was so curious and excited about everything and anything around. Whether it was ice-cream, gulab jamun that made you excited or it was the stars and the moon.
You have taught us not only to dream, but dare to dream anything and how it can be manufactured by us. You have revived the curious child in us who used to be curious all the time about different things but which we somewhat lost amid the chaos around. You are much more than what words can ever decipher for YOU!
I have liked and admired many but I have never been fan of anybody because I never understood the concept of it, rather I always thought being a fan makes you so engrossed emotionally and otherwise that you tend to ignore the other side to it. But, today, sadly in retrospect, I still don’t understand what makes one what but any word which connects my feeling for you is worth attaching to myself for you, so, I am your FAN, I idolize you and just love you for everything you were and all of it.
Sushi you, you are a phenomenon, you’re like that Halley’s Comet which hits the earth once in a while, you’re that magic that I feel fortunate to have witnessed in my lifetime.
As law of Conservation of energy states, energy can neither be created nor be destroyed it is only transformed from one form to another. Similarly, your energy is here in this universe, it has only transformed, that exuberant energy of you wherever it is in which ever form it is, will be looking down on us as we look up to you.
We all pray for your soul and that excited energy with folded hands that you find peace. You will be kept alive in our hearts and will live forever through all your wonderful deeds and in all our little endeavours for you, that we will keep doing to remember this magical phenomena “Sushant Singh Rajput”.
