To the Eternal Star who taught me to Shine!

To the Eternal Star who taught me to Shine!

Dearest Sushant,
I am very blessed that I followed you right from Pavitra Rishta that is 2009. I was 9 , I didn’t understand it much back then but I remember how much I liked you since then. I watched the entire Jhalak season only for you. I grew up watching you. Slowly I got to know more about you and I started respecting you a lot. After M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story you became an absolute star; but I always knew you had more than just acting. From following your Instagram posts filled with so much wisdom to watching you living your dreams, I grew up. Even I had many dreams but never believed in their accomplishment. But now I am working hard religiously to live them. You were a gem, not just for India, but for the entire humanity. The perspective about death has also changed for me as I still believe that you are just not present among us physically but you are here, spiritually. Your soul is here guiding us always.

On the worst day of 14th June 2020 when I got this news I was just shocked. I couldn’t cry because I was still wishing it to be fake. But no, it wasn’t. But I didn’t believe in all those ‘depression’ stories at all, because I knew you. I knew what a vibrant and lively person you were. I couldn’t study for the next two weeks. I had my 21st birthday in July but I didn’t even wish to celebrate it. I had lost a person so close to me. Only I know what you meant for me. I have always wished that I would meet you someday when I’d do something big in my life but now my heart just sinks to know that you will not be here with me.

You didn’t belong here Sushant, you were from the world of angels. You were so pure and innocent.
Sometimes when I go in deep thoughts about you I just fantasize you coming back and telling us how you found the parallel world with all those amazing science theories you had, but then I am struck back to the bitter reality. 12 years of following you, you were amazing then and you are amazing now. You have showed us that one can be talented, hard working, intellectual, dreamer, honest, funny, spiritual, passionate, caring, loving, childlike, happy and humble; all at the same time.
Manav to Manny, you had an eternity within you.

As they say, the best way to keep a legend alive is to live his legacy everyday.
A part of my heart died with you Sushant but the remaining will keep beating with your teachings, love and legacy, till my last breath.
Your smile always reminds me of the title song of Pavitra Rishta

Aasmaan mein jab tak sitare rahenge
Hum ek dusre ke sahare rahenge
Naazdikiyaan ya ho duriyaan
bas pyar hi rahega darmeyaan……

To the eternal star who taught me the way to live life…!!!
