To the Brightest Star in the Sky 💫🦋

Dear Sushant,

“ I wish you were here, but you are not here, you are there and there doesn’t know how lucky it is to have you” 💔

It was 2009/10, I had just returned from London after completing my studies, every evening my mumma would make sure, no matter what she was doing, to get glued at the TV set at 9pm sharp and watch Pavitra Rishta; I could never understand her love for the show and I thought this could come out as some another tv soap opera. My mumma use to love Manav and Archana so much that the characters of you and Ankita became a part of my family’s dinner time discussions, so much so my mum convinced me to watch the show and then I don’t recall when did I became a fan of your work , or let’s be honest a fan of your bright smile and your eyes which lit up so bright every time you smiled.

So I first ‘met’ you on our family’s television set and then you became my favorite too; I mean it is so easy to fall in love with you , just the way you acted and portrayed the perfect son with that exuberant smile and sparkly eyes. I followed your journey into films and followed you through on social media.

I have always looked up to my dad who taught me to be honest and work hard , he taught me to dream and achieve them, so for me the qualities that I was attracted towards were being kind, hardworking , passionate, being a dreamer and a seeker. You embodied all these qualities, you portrayed all these in your craft, in your life, in everything you did. You directly, indirectly inspired me to be the best version of myself and to be a kind human first. At such a young age you accomplished so much , you kept on ticking of your dreams list one by one, that gave me courage to dream and set goals for my life. The learnings and the dreams you have left behind have inspired millions to chase their dreams and be a life long learner. You have given millions of aspiring students knowledge of life that will last forever ,in your numbered days.
Your sheer brilliance, intelligence, hard-work, dedication and passion towards your craft was the most beautiful and attractive thing about you but above all you are a human par excellence.
You are that GURU who taught all of us to believe in our dreams and achieve them . Your curiosity to learn new things taught all of us lessons for life to be child like curious and keep seeking and discovering the unknowns.

Didn’t know you personally yet your loss is personal, that’s how you touched my life and millions of others. Wish I had a chance to meet you and talk about Shiva, physics and disruptive technologies. I wish I had the privilege to meet you once, wish I didn’t shy away and had posted a tweet or Instagram to you. How I wish many things…..

Hope you are having tons of fun reading and star gazing now that you are so close to the moon. I have tons to say but I am not being able to put words to my emotions.. Soo much gratitude, love and respect for you. It’s hard to describe you but one word which comes to my mind right away when I think of you is Resilient.

Until next time Friend. Hope you are smiling where ever you are.. Wish heaven had a phone number to call you 💔💔

दूसरों के वास्ते
तू सदैव ही जिया,
माँगा कुछ कभी नहीं
तूने सिर्फ है दिया…

You will always be a GURU for me.🙏 Thank you for your teachings and for leading by an example always.
With love and respect,
One of the millions of people who is touched by your light 🦋🙏💫🌪🔱❤️✊🌙
