Sushant Singh Rajput -An Epitome of Kindness

We all have a moment in our lives that changes our entire view of the world. It makes us question everything we thought we knew. For me unfortunately, that moment was losing you Sushant.

I had been the kind of person who would look at a situation where people are suffering and ignore. If only I had the money and resources to help, I would’ve helped. Being a student with no income, I didn’t think I could actually help. Sushant you taught me that to be kind, one doesn’t need a big bank balance but only a big heart. For you, kindness was as simple as if we have an excess of something and someone else needs it, we should share it.

You made silent donations to people hit by floods, those who suffered from ailments without any airs about it. Sure you had the money to do so, but your kindness went beyond monetary donations. You took the time out to reply to your fans, who you called ‘Godfathers’ and friends.

You shared your knowledge on topics like physics, spirituality and stars. You shared your dreams, those dreams you dreamt weren’t only for yourself, but the betterment of humanity as a whole. Today those unfinished dreams are inspiring millions who are taking it upon themselves to fulfill them.

I may not have the money or resources right now to do a lot. But because of you Sushant, I’ve learnt that kindness lies in small acts and not in big gestures. Whether that is buying plants from the local nurseries, buying Diyas from small shops on Diwali, sharing fascinating things I learn with others, genuinely complimenting someone, or even whispering a silent prayer for another.

Most importantly, I now see people dreaming and working to make this world a better place. I still have a long way to go. But I promise to try and live the rest of my life with the spirit of kindness that you instilled in me. You redefined the meaning of kindness to me Rockstar.
~ Till I meet you on the other side,
Yours’ lovingly
Sanjana🦋♥
