Mile Ho Tum Humko.

Dear Sushant,

It’s been months since you left us and still some of us can’t get over it. You are so close yet so far. I’m not aware if it’s just a feeling or is it the truth. And for sure I know that some day you will return. But the sensible part of my brain made me realise that it isn’t possible. I regret everything I’ve done, I didn’t pay attention to you before you left.

We’re racing against the clock to find the justice for your absence. Many say “Always have a unique character like salt. It’s presence may not be felt, but its absence makes food tasteless.” And that’s how you were dear Sushant.

Yesterday after I finished listening to “Main Tumhari Rahi”, tears started to flood out. I felt your presence and absence. With your absence, everything has changed. Everything just seems so….. what can I say? Maybe different? I don’t know how to express that particular feeling through words but I am sure you will understand.

Now I don’t want to talk about your absence anymore…. Its been a good chat on how the world is without you. Let’s start a chat on what your presence did to us. Starting with bollywood, you’ve changed the industry’s nepotism to an extent. In schooling, you made us believe that education is the only weapon. In acting, you changed the perspective of every character you played and last but not the least, in chasing your dreams, you made us believe that dreaming is IMPORTANT but chasing them and fulfilling them is VERY IMPORTANT.

Infact I want to dedicate a line from the English song Senorita…. “I love it when YOU call me Senorita” and a line from your own song “Shaam Gulabi, sheher gulabi, peher gulabi hai gulabi yeh sheher” 😘🥰 As much as I love you, all your fans do too…

Signing off for now…
Lots of love
Always Yours
Harshini
